Mukhangu Noah Maina
Noah is an IP Networks and Unix Systems Engineer with over 14 years of extensive experience in IP based Carrier-Grade Network Service Provider infrastructure notwithstanding his multi-vendor Industry experience.
Noah is currently employed as the IP Peering Coordinator at SEACOM, a Pan-African Submarine Network Services Provider where he coordinates and manages all SEACOM’s Private and Public Peering arrangements across SEACOM’s Global IP/MPLS Network.Noah’s network engineering experience includes, building scalable and resilient IP based network infrastructure, networks design, configuration, deployment and scaling.
Noah passionately champions IP routing and switching skills and knowledge transfer around East and Southern Africa and IPv6 adoption in Tanzania. As an Instructor, he has trained computer networks engineers through various technical capacity building organisations across Africa like Africa Network Operators Group (AFNOG), the Tanzania Network Operators Group (tzNOG) and TEN School of Tech. Noah was recently appointed as the Secretary General and Technical committee member of the Tanzania Internet Service Providers Association (TISPA). Noah is also an active member of the AfriNIC Policy Development Working Group within the African service region.
