Martin is a respected member of the Internet engineering community and a clear leader in IPv6 deployment, advocacy, and adoption. I believe that he would make an excellent addition to the ICANN Board and would bring his experience and energy to the work of ICANN.
I support Marin Levy for this position on the ICANN Board.
Martin Levy is a former employee of mine, so my knowledge is first hand. Martin has an outstanding knowledge of the actual technical underpinnings of the Internet, is a great communicator, and has numerous personal connections to top Internet architects. Martin also understand Internet peering and interconnection as well as the Domain Name System on a level that most theoreticians can not approach.
I strongly support Martin Levy for a position on the ICANN Board. My faith in the ICANN process is reaffirmed by outstanding candidates like Martin.
Martin has evangelized the urgency of IPv6 adoption for many years and he is well respected in the community. He will be able to provide thought leadership and guidance for ICANN and would be a great addition to the ICANN board.
Martin combines long-term vision (witness his tireless support for IPv6) with a solid grounding in operational reality (he is part of the team that runs a major transit provider). He has both strong technical skills and good communication skills. He would be a great asset for the ICANN board.

I have known Martin Levy for many years as a strong advocate for open growth of the Internet and as a strong supporter of IPv6 deployment. He always brings a wealth of knowledge to discussions and is always willing to commit his time to causes that strengthen the Internet. I fully support Martin as a candidate for the ICANN Board.
I strongly support Marty J. Lewis for a position at the ICANN board. Martin has a very strong executive experience at a major service provider, he has deep technical knowledge and is a community builder…worldwide. Above all, the main ability that Martin has is the way he inspires people, and that is something that is missing not only in ICANN but in the world at large.

I have known Martin for many years. He is not only a colleague, but, a friend and a mentor. While I have high respect for each of the four candidates in this election, I heartily endorse Martin and encourage others to vote for him as well. (Though I can’t imagine what possessed him to want the job).
Martin has deep understanding of the internet and its history. He is a skilled engineer and an able communicator. Most of all, he has a relatively low tolerance for absurdity and as such would be a serious asset to the ICANN board.
Martin is well respected in the community as a smart, no nonsense, get-the-job-done person with long term vision. Thinkers are rare, do-ers are rare, thinkers and do-ers are the rarest of them all. I vouch for him.
Martin has supported, evangelized, and promoted both the urgency of IPv6 adoption – as well as the utility of IPv6 for many years. He pushed my former company (CRG West) to fully implement IPv6 on the exchange point long before it was even a common discussion topic, as well as offering great assistance in developing IPv6 route servers for the community.
Nobody will provide better thought leadership and guidance for the global Internet community on topics related to IPv6 than Martin Levy.
I have worked with Martin Levy on IPv6 efforts and have the utmost respect for his leadership in this area. I think he will bring a real depth of knowledge to ASO with his IPv6 implementation efforts. I support Martin Levy’s nomination.
