Subject:Letter of support – Kuo Wei Wu
From: Jonny Martin

I have worked with, and been impressed by Kuo Wei Wu in several
capacities over the past four or five years. This has been primarily
through our involvement in the APNIC community, and for the past year
when he was elected to the board of the Asia and Pacific Internet
Association (APIA) of which I have been on for several years.

I have always found Kuo Wei Wu to act in a professional way, he has a
great knowledge of internet governance, working with the community,
and doing what he believes is right for the internet as a whole. I
have no doubt that he would be a great asset to the ICANN board, and
in turn the internet community at large.

Cheers,
Jonny Martin
(Involved primarily in the AP region – APNIC, APIA, InternetNZ,
various operator meetings, but writing this in a personal capacity).

I would like to give my support for Kuo-Wei Wu to fill the ASO seat at the ICANN board.

Kuo-Wei as been representing the Asia Pacific region for a while now. I had the pleasure to work with him, either within ICANN as representative of an ALS (PICISOC) or within ISOC as trustee. Kuo-Wei has a good understanding of the Asia/Pacific region. He has the experience neccessary to be on the ICANN board and would provide adequate geographic representation.

I would also add, the Pacific Islands Chapter of the Internet Society (PICISOC, encompassing 22 countries and 600+ members) supports also Kuo-Wei’s nomination.

Dear ASO Members

I fully support Kuo-Wei Wu’s nomination for the ICANN Board.

I first met Kuo-Wei Wu at the APNIC meeting in 2004 and since then had
an opportunity to interact with him in his various
roles during many RIR, ICANN and IGF meetings.

His passion and dedication when dealing with complex and challenging
tasks of Internet administration would provide
a useful contribution to the work of the Board.
