Raymond’s contribution to the Internet Governance Ecosystem and ICANN community does indeed set him as a right candidate to be on the ICANN Board.
Aside from advancing ICANN’s mission in his involvement in the space, supporting the development of a stable and secure internet through increased engagement of African netizens among others justifies him for the set role.
His desire to have young people involved in internet policy development across the globe especially in Africa is among other qualities you need in the Board of Directors which he possesses. Considering the youths have over the years contributed significantly to internet growth and its disruption, thus engaging them early builds a better internet space.
As such, I highly recommend him for the set role.
Aside from Raymond’s qualification that positions him well for this board role, his tenacity, helpfulness and proactive nature will be a great add on for the team and especially the African community. I have worked with him on initiatives relating to a safe, secure and open Internet and I can wholeheartedly vouch for his skills and personality.
