Aftab Siddiqui is the Technical Engagement Manager in Asia Pacific Regional Bureau at the Internet Society. He is based in Sydney, Australia. Before joining ISOC he was working with a system integrator Eintellego Networks as its Chief Technologist. He has vast experience in the service provider sector, he spent almost a decade at Cybernet (one of the largest ISP in Pakistan) starting as a support engineer in the network operations centre and left as the Manager of Network Operations and Projects in 2015. During that period, he completed many projects and also participated in various regional and international technology events where he shared his experience and knowledge with the community.

He is a regular presenter at various technology events like SANOG, APNIC/APRICOT, MENOG and other national NOGs. Currently serving as the board member of APRICOT, member of ICANN fellowship committee and co-chair of SANOG PC. He is also part of the Deploy360 team at Internet Society and writes technical blog post relevant to the operations community.
