ASO General Assemply Meeting                    Wednesday, 4 April 2001
Call for Presentations and Participation

The Address Council of the Address Supporting Organisation has
announced the second ASO General Assembly meeting, to be held on
Wednesday, 4 April 2001, in San Francisco, US. This meeting will be
hosted by ARIN alongside ARIN's Public Policy and Members Meeting, and
will be open to all parties with an interest in ASO policy matters.

OPEN CALL FOR PRESENTATIONS
The ASO program committee is seeking interested individuals and
organizations who would be willing to make presentations at the General
Assemmbly meeting.  The presentatios should relate directly to the
mission of the ASO.  This includes the following topic areas:

.  Definition of global policies for the distribution and registration
of Internet address space (currently IPv4 and IPv6);

.  Definition of global policies for the distribution and registration
of identifiers used in Internet inter-domain routing (currently BGP
autonomous system numbers); and

.  Definition of global policies concerning the part of the DNS name
space which is derived from the Internet address space and the inter-
domain routing identifiers (currently in-addr.arpa and ip6.int).

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION
Anyone interested in making a presentation at the ASO General Assembly
should send an electronic mail message to ASO-secretariat@aso.icann.org
with the following information:

. Presentation title
. Name of presenter
. Email address of presenter
. Voice phone number of presenter
. Organizational affiliation
. Abstract of proposed presentation (125 words or less)
. Time requested for presentation
