IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: EXPRESSIONS OF SUPPORT FOR ASO NOMINEES TO ICANN
BOARD


After its meeting in Budapest during May, the ASO Address Council made a
call for Expressions of Support for candidates nominated to fill ICANN
director positions for the ASO.  The deadline for submission of Expressions
of Support was 30 June 2000.

Unfortunately due to a technical problem within the ASO website, Expressions
of Support which were submitted after 19 June 2000 were not delivered to the
ASO Secretariat, and cannot now be retrieved.

As a result of this problem, the Address Council has extended the deadline
for submission of Expressions of Support to 31 July 2000.  Any person who
previously lodged an Expression of Support (particularly between 19 and 30
June) is asked to kindly do so again, by filling out the form available via:

http://www.aso.icann.org/board/

The ASO Secretariat apologises sincerely for this problem, and for any
inconvenience caused.
