[aso-council] Issues Report on Privacy Issues Related to Whois

To the Address Council:

At its meeting on 25 March 2003, the GNSO Council requested the ICANN
staff to prepare an Issues Report on Privacy Issues Related to Whois.
This has now been completed and is posted at
<http://www.icann.org/gnso/issue-reports/whois-privacy-report-13may03.htm>.
Although somewhat different considerations pertain to the Whois services
provided by the RIRs as part of their performance of the registration
function, the content of this report might nonetheless be of interest to
the Address Council.
