Lacnic is pleased to announce the election of Jorge Villa to the Number Resource Organisation Number Council (NRO NC). Jorge will serve in the NRO NC as a representative of the Lacnic region until 31 December 2014.

The NRO EC is pleased to announce that German Valdez has been appointed the Number Resource Organization (NRO) Executive Secretary. This is the first permanent position created to support NRO and ASO activities, goals and objectives. You can contact German via exec-secretary at nro.net.

APNIC is pleased to announce that Andy Linton has been reappointed by the APNIC Executive Council as a member of the ASO Address Council for 2013.

The Address Supporting Organization Address Council (ASO AC) has announced the list of candidates for the appointment to Seat Number 10 of the ICANN Board.

ARIN is pleased to announce that Louis Lee has been re-elected to the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) from the ARIN region.

ICANN has announced a Public Comment Period relating to the implementation of GPP-IPv4-2011: Global Policy Proposal for Post Exhaustion IPv4 Allocation Mechanisms by the IANA. The ICANN Board announced ratification of GPP-IPv4-2011 on 17 May 2012. The proposal had reached consensus in all Regional Internet Registry (RIR) regions and was reviewed by the NRO EC [...]

Dmitry Kohmanyuk was elected to the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) at a Plenary session of the RIPE 65 Meeting on 28 September 2012.

On 17 August 2012, the ASO AC called for nominations for the ASO appointment to Seat 10 on the ICANN Board of Directors. The nomination period will end on 19 October 2012. The ASO AC has now published the full timeline for other phases in the selection process.

Naresh Ajwani has been re-elected as a representative to the Number Resource Organization Number Council (NRO NC) for the APNIC region. He will begin another two year term on 1 January 2013.

Consistent with the ASO Memorandum of Understanding and ICANN Bylaws, the Address Supporting Organization Address Council (ASO AC) calls for nominations for Seat Number 10 on the ICANN Board.
